This is videos of two FEMALE V. Salvator Tneg Albinos. One is 18 months old captive bred and never bred or produced eggs the other is a long term, two + year old wild caught that has produced infertile eggs but never bred with a male. Both are similar sized animals and have been housed in a large outdoor enclosure together with another older, bigger female that has bred and produced fertile eggs (mother of the CB female) but had no interaction in this event. They have been housed together for at least two months with out any incidents. I do believe the wild caught female might be producing follicles at this time and while not certain of this I believe it was the CB female that initiated the fight.

Bipedal ritualised fighting like this I thought was reserved for the males, I know females can be territorial and aggressive especially when they are nesting but this is not the case with these two. I am leaning towards aggression over retreats/hiding spots but that does not explain the ritualised behaviour, females will chase and bite one another over retreats/territory and can be VERY aggressive during these interactions.
